They paint themselves daily white chalk, yellow mineral rock and red rock and also scarify their chests to beautify themselves by cutting with a knife or razor and rubbing ash into the wound to create a raised effect. drive back to turmi and visit one village of Hamer. Drive closer to the Kenyan border. We cross the omo river, one of the major rivers of Ethiopia that drains into lake Turkana , to visit one of the Dassanech villages. And is comprised of stone walled terraces and fortified settlements in the highlands stretching back generations.
